 School hours are:  7:30 am to 2:30 pm

Students may enter the cafeteria beginning at 7:15 am.  They may eat breakfast or go straight to their classroom.  Any parents wishing to enter the building must obtain a visitor's pass in the front office.

STEP 2: Please bring the following documents to the school's front office:

  • Original Birth Certificate – we will make a copy. 
  • South Carolina Certificate of Immunization
  • 2 proofs of residency: 
    • copy of mortgage statement, lease agreement or tax bill AND
    • utility bill (SCE&G or Charleston Water – NOT cable or cell phone bill)

**Please note:Registration will not be complete or processed until BOTH steps 1 &2 are completed and ALL documentation is received in our office.

    On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of Goodwin Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the 2014-2015 school year. We are certain that you will have an engaging, productive, exciting school year at Goodwin. I have an open door policy, and I am always happy to discuss the progress of your child or any concerns or needs that may arise. Goodwin Elementary School believes that ALL children can learn at high levels, and we expect a lot of great things from our children.  Goodwin is proud to be a pilot school for Personal Mastery.
