Teacher Appreciation Lunch
Teacher Appreciation Day from Hispanic Families at Goodwin Elementary School. Moms brought home cooked food to share. Congratulations to the Parent Committee and parent volunteers for their excellent work and enthusiasm in making this event live up to what teachers and school staff deserve.

Pizza Celebration
Gentlemen from the North Charleston chapter of the Knights of Pythagoras surprised some Goodwin students today with a pizza celebration! They wanted to celebrate our scholars who make good choices in academics by making the principals list and honor roll, and have perfect attendance! Great job students!! Thank you for supporting our scholars!

Read Across America
Ms. Vivas visited Goodwin for Read Across America Week. She read Green Eggs and Ham to Kindergarten and 1st grade in both English and Spanish. Ms. Vivas works with The Department of Multilingual Services for CCSD.

Upcoming Events
I love our Gator family. Between the students, staff, and parents, Goodwin is truly one of my favorite communities to be a part of. I love building lasting relationships with my students, staying connected with former students, and forming connections with younger students I’ll teach in the future. It’s special to see families come through Goodwin and already have relationships with siblings and parents. Our community events allow me to connect with families in meaningful ways, and I truly appreciate how involved and supportive our Goodwin families and staff are.
